SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

OIM Unrestricted (MOU, MODU & Fixed), more than 25 years’ experience on offshore O&G (navigation, stability, positioning, offloading and production). Worked on Semi-Submersibles, FSO & FPSO units. Management of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up in different projects, also involved in planned shutdown for maintenance scope and improvements.

Activities: Supervise Marine Department of 8 different FPSOs from Santos and ES Field. (Oil cargo: production, treatment & storage of petroleum coming from surging & gas lift wells). Joint work with Production Superintendents for petroleum and produced water treatment (BSW, H2S, hydrate and Corrosion inhibitors, PH, salinity & TOG control), gas Lift, water injection, cargo distribution, water disposal, oil skimming & de- bottoming, ballast and shear forces control. Supervise cargo tanks washing and cleaning (COW system), inert gas operation and control. Gas Freeing. Position: Offshore Instalation Manager, Acting Operations Manager, Captain and Marine Superintendent.
Activities: Joint work with Toolpusher of “SS Atlantic Zephyr” and Drill Crew for intervention and workover on DOMMO Energy wells of “Tubarão Azul” oil field. (BOP control, BCS pumps maintenance, completion fluids injection, cannonades). Rig moves (anchoring, towing, positioning). Master/OIM of Dynamic Position FPSO (Dynamic Producer), rented to Petrobras for well tests in “Carioca Norte” oil field. Joint work with the Marine Superintendent and responsible for mooring and unmooring shuttle tankers to DP-FPSO, managed the offloading operations in line with the international requirements and the client’s request. Supervised supply and towing boats maneuvers. Liaise with the Logistics Coordinator and FPSO Head of Departments (HODs) to ensure that support vessels, DP-FPSO and cargo are prepared prior to commencement of the export operation. Responsible for minimization of delays and demurrage as evidenced in the Offtake Timesheet. Responsible for reviewing the export tankers suitability for use at the offshore terminal including but not limited to the tandem mooring layout, tug securing layout and manifold setup. Managed tug operations and equipment transfers and maneuvers of tanker to and from FPSO. Responsible for cargo hose connection and disconnection operations. Organized the Key Safety meeting with the Offload tanker management team. Supervised the start-up and completion of all export operations, during which you will liaise with the FPSO terminal to ensure the operation is completed safely. Joint work with Production Superintendent on production, treatment & storage of petroleum coming from new wells in EWT. (BSW, H2S, Scale and Corrosion inhibitors, PH), produced water treatment/disposal, cargo distribution, skimming, de-bottoming, ballast and shear forces control. Directly manage the export operations in line with the international requirements and the client’s request. Supervise supply and towing boats maneuvers. Ensure that maintenance is carried out on the tandem hawser and export hose string as per the Code of Practice (COP) guidelines.
Liaise with the Logistics Coordinator and FSO Head of Departments (HODs) to ensure that support vessels, FSO and cargo are prepared prior to commencement of the export operation. Supervised the start-up and completion of all offloading operations, during which liaise with tanker crew to ensure the operation is completed safely. Responsible to maintain the Offloading tanker position during the export operations using the static pull back boat and monitoring the hawser tension load cell to prevent the tanker from over tensioning.
